Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants
  • Prior leadership role experience required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to exceptional guest service
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Compliance with OSHA and health/safety policies
  • Must meet state alcohol service age requirements for applicable restaurants

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline staff including termination
  • Shape restaurant culture and maintain high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior to create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash procedures, inventory, food and labor management, and review financial reports
  • Manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • Follow recipes and portion control
  • Manage labor schedules using company tools
  • Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned
