Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • one to two years related experience or training
  • must attend GM Core classes and Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
  • must be Serve-Safe Certified
  • ability to comply with company policies and procedures
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • proficiency in planning and budgeting
  • knowledge of employment laws
  • ability to manage staff and operations effectively

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of company operating systems and procedures
  • knowledge of company's policies and procedures
  • experience with profit and loss analysis and corrective measures
  • understanding of supervisory practices
  • skills in planning and budgeting
  • knowledge of interviewing practices
  • experience in training and development
  • familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
  • ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • strong presentation and communication skills
  • ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry
  • ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
  • ability to interpret technical instructions

Job Duties

  • Manage restaurant operations and staff
  • execute all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
  • ensure objectives are reached in all areas following company guidelines
  • ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices
  • provide leadership, direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and crew
  • analyze profit and loss reports and implement corrective measures
  • recruit, interview, and train new team members
