Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- one to two years related experience or training
- must attend GM Core classes and Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
- must be Serve-Safe Certified
- ability to comply with company policies and procedures
- strong leadership skills
- excellent communication abilities
- proficiency in planning and budgeting
- knowledge of employment laws
- ability to manage staff and operations effectively
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- knowledge of company operating systems and procedures
- knowledge of company's policies and procedures
- experience with profit and loss analysis and corrective measures
- understanding of supervisory practices
- skills in planning and budgeting
- knowledge of interviewing practices
- experience in training and development
- familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- ability to write reports and business correspondence
- strong presentation and communication skills
- ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry
- ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
- ability to interpret technical instructions
Job Duties
- Manage restaurant operations and staff
- execute all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
- ensure objectives are reached in all areas following company guidelines
- ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices
- provide leadership, direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and crew
- analyze profit and loss reports and implement corrective measures
- recruit, interview, and train new team members
