Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years of restaurant experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining
  • knowledge of OSHA and local health codes
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to manage multiple projects
  • available to work weekends and flexible shifts
  • compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service if applicable
  • willingness to uphold company safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations of the restaurant
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise employee performance, reward and discipline including termination
  • ensure high level of employee engagement and shape restaurant culture
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior creating hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and cascading initiatives to staff
  • assist team members with category duties as needed
  • champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • enforce OSHA and safety policies
  • monitor daily activities for quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • review financial reports and schedules
  • manage facility and company assets
  • perform all other assigned duties
