Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations following company policies and legal regulations
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and address employee matters including discipline and termination
- foster a positive culture and high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior creating a hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to staff
- assist team members with job duties as necessary
- champion sales building and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
- maintain operational efficiency, cost controls, and profitability
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
- enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- control cash, security, inventory, food and labor costs
- manage weekly schedules using company labor tools
- ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- manage facility maintenance and protect company assets
- perform other duties as assigned
