Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum 3 years experience as a General Manager in an upscale environment
  • previous hotel management experience preferred
  • renovation/project management experience preferred
  • strong leadership skills essential
  • excellent communication skills necessary
  • ability to motivate and lead a diverse team
  • extensive experience with P&L management

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a General Manager in an upscale environment
  • previous experience in a similar type of hotel preferred
  • renovation/project management experience preferred
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to motivate team for best-in-class customer service
  • over 10 years of P&L responsibilities
  • bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Set goals and expectations for direct reports
  • identify leadership and foster career development
  • inspire and motivate the team to achieve operational excellence
  • create a cohesive leadership team and positive business environment that consistently delivers results
  • develop deployment strategies to market property and grow market share
  • support sales strategy by encouraging effective revenue management practices
  • review market position reports and maintain awareness of the property’s competitive standing
