Job Requirements
- Must successfully pass background check
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors and rooms
- Ability to communicate with employees, members, and the public
- Ability to operate company computer systems including preparing documents and entering data
- Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs
Job Qualifications
- 2 years of sales management experience
- 3-4 years of customer service experience
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
- Strong communication skills verbally and in writing
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
- Strong detail orientation and problem-solving abilities
- Good time management, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Embrace core values of the company
Job Duties
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants
- Effectively communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff members
- Set and achieve membership and revenue goals, track KPIs, and develop strategies to increase membership retention and new sign-ups
- Provide constructive feedback to staff members on their performance
- Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns or complaints
- Engage with members in a friendly and approachable manner, actively listening to their needs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain proper certifications
- Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment and common areas
- Communicate calmly and clearly during emergencies, providing necessary instructions and updates
