Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in hospitality management business administration or a related field preferred
  • minimum of 5 years of experience in general management or senior leadership roles within private clubs resorts or hospitality organizations
  • proven ability to manage complex operations and multiple departments
  • strong financial acumen with experience in budget preparation and analysis
  • excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make swift decisions
  • willingness to work approximately 50 hours per week with consistent onsite presence
  • commitment to employee development and mentoring
  • flexibility to relocate if necessary
  • knowledge of federal state and local laws governing club operations

Job Qualifications

  • experience in managing multi-departmental operations within a country club or similar hospitality environment
  • strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • proficiency in financial management including budgeting forecasting and P and L management
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to collaborate effectively with corporate and onsite teams
  • knowledge of relevant compliance standards and regulatory requirements
  • experience in event development and marketing strategy
  • commitment to exceptional guest service and operational excellence

Job Duties

  • lead and oversee all departments including golf operations food and beverage merchandising and agronomy ensuring strong collaboration and achievement of goals
  • partner with corporate revenue sales and marketing teams to design and execute innovative programming marketing plans sales strategies and pricing models
  • develop and implement both short-term and long-term operational and financial plans to drive growth and sustainability
  • recruit develop and retain high-performing staff through strong leadership and professional development initiatives
  • ensure compliance with national programs such as Players Club Core Beverage Program Menu Program Approved Product List and Beverage Bartender Program
  • monitor forecasts budgets payroll revenues inventories and expenses on a daily weekly basis to ensure financial targets are met
  • maintain strict financial controls and reporting practices
  • deliver an exceptional guest experience by reviewing member feedback surveys and implementing action plans for continuous improvement
  • ensure compliance with all federal state and local laws and regulations
