  • minimum 4-6 years of prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants
  • prior leadership role experience

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and reward or discipline employees
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • assist team members as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health, safety, and security compliance
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control daily operations including cash control, inventory, financial reports, and schedules
  • manage food, labor, and carryout costs
  • follow recipes and portion control for food costs
  • optimize employee schedules and monitor sales performance
  • ensure proper restaurant equipment use
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform all other assigned duties
