Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive hand/arm motions
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Ability to work with agility
  • Assist in training and developing new hires
  • Ability to work occasional long hours within applicable laws
  • Ability to write simple correspondence in English
  • Ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
  • Reliable transportation
  • Current ServSafe certification or must obtain within 30 days
  • Food Handler Permit as required by local laws
  • Compliance with all local Health Department requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience in coaching and developing teams in a retail environment
  • Availability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Achieve sales, labor, and food cost targets for store profitability
  • Supervise and direct staff including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and scheduling
  • Monitor labor costs, food costs, and all variable operating expenses
  • Manage cash handling procedures and financial reporting
  • Maintain security and safety of the store and assets
  • Control inventory levels, reduce waste, and prevent unauthorized giveaways
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations
  • Manage cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities
  • Coordinate promotional, marketing, and public relations activities
  • Maintain relationships with mall management and participate in relevant committees
  • Act as a working manager on the front line with team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
