Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive hand/arm motions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Ability to work with agility
- Assist in training and developing new hires
- Ability to work occasional long hours within applicable laws
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
- Reliable transportation
- Current ServSafe certification or must obtain within 30 days
- Food Handler Permit as required by local laws
- Compliance with all local Health Department requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in coaching and developing teams in a retail environment
- Availability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Achieve sales, labor, and food cost targets for store profitability
- Supervise and direct staff including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and scheduling
- Monitor labor costs, food costs, and all variable operating expenses
- Manage cash handling procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain security and safety of the store and assets
- Control inventory levels, reduce waste, and prevent unauthorized giveaways
- Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations
- Manage cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Coordinate promotional, marketing, and public relations activities
- Maintain relationships with mall management and participate in relevant committees
- Act as a working manager on the front line with team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
