Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience is required
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred
  • Must adhere to state mandated age requirements for alcohol serving positions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Willingness to comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to manage cash, inventory, and labor scheduling

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work activities
  • Appraise employee performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions
  • Promote a positive restaurant culture to enhance employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for professional growth
  • Model professional behavior and foster a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives to staff
  • Assist team members with job duties when necessary
  • Champion sales activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain cost controls and profitable operations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work practices for staff and guests
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, and security procedures
  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and other controllable expenses
  • Oversee weekly inventory and proper recipe adherence
  • Optimize labor scheduling and monitor sales performance
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
