Job Duties
- Coach, supervise, direct all department managers so operational needs are met on a daily basis
- schedule management personnel as necessary
- assist designated management team or individuals in developing training standards for alcohol service, customer service, safety, harassment
- host all meetings for management team
- conduct training sessions as needed
- work with Executive Chef, Retail Operations Manager and Buyer to track, maintain and budget inventory and cost of goods
- act as main liaison between the Client and SSA
- maintain a close relationship with direct client report and the client's staff
- responsible for close liaison with marketing to drive company efforts, guest experience and operational output
- attend Client meetings and report monthly to the Regional Manager(s)
- ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws
- maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
- uphold and demonstrate understanding of company policies and procedures
- accountable for unit's financial management through budgeting, forecasting, and management of sales/per capita and controllable expenses
- ensure that all fiscal deadlines are met to HQ
- manage final check on all invoices processed through account
- provide precise reports to Regional Manager for cash reconciliation, flash reporting, item analysis, monthly inventory, and payroll percentages
- complete business assessment with comparable market pricing
- forecast weekly sales and maintain sales analysis
- manage payroll and controllable profit within guidelines
- set precedent to achieve sales, per capita and controllable budget
- minimize controllable costs
- perform SSA EXTRA Guest Service
- manage day to day functions of all applicable departments
- maintain knowledge and implementation of contract between SSA and Client
- support progressive discipline documentation
- keep operating manuals up to date
- review and approve plans for major special events
- manage design and implementation of menus and pricing
- assume active role in long-range planning for department programs
- manage all capital projects
- manage all business legal needs
- ensure employee integration and exit are managed appropriately
- promote inclusive and supportive approach
- assure editorial role on unit publications
- ensure unit strives to be example for company and client guidelines regarding sustainability/conservation
- support SSA/Unit in community engagement
- perform other tasks as necessary
