Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4-6 years prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Prior experience in leadership role
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work varying shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical job demands such as bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Willingness to follow safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff according to company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while appraising and disciplining employees
  • Foster a positive restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and implement corporate programs
  • Assist with category job duties when needed
  • Promote sales building and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, schedules, and financial reporting
  • Manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • Control food costs by following recipes and portion control
  • Optimize labor schedules using scheduling tools
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and company assets
  • Perform all other assigned duties
