Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Partner with HR to attract, recruit, develop and retain a diverse, high performing team
  • train and develop staff to meet company guidelines and expectations
  • ensure continual, positive communication and feedback with staff including timely delivery of Continuous Improvement Summaries
  • manage team through innovative, creative, inspirational leadership style
  • hold staff consistently accountable with unbiased fairness to drive performance
  • create a highly engaged team environment promoting execution, innovation, productivity, and leadership development
  • proactively manage performance of managers and staff to address opportunities quickly and take appropriate actions
  • manage day-to-day operations of the facility as a subject matter expert in all process areas
  • recruit and maintain appropriate number of sub-haulers to manage logistical requirements
  • ensure compliance with System Quality Reviews, Field Quality Reviews, and Equipment and Safety Reviews
  • promptly raise concerns impacting facility, employees, or customers to Regional Manager
  • set goals and ensure employees leverage tools for success
  • maintain compliance with laws and regulations including EPA, OSHA, DMV
  • disseminate pertinent knowledge to ensure transparency and clarity on company goals
  • manage customer relationships with buyers, sellers, and internal customers
  • identify and remedy knowledge and skill gaps within team
  • serve as brand ambassador of company mission, vision, values, and culture
  • communicate professionally at all leadership levels
  • support local or non-local CAT events as needed
  • understand and manage profit and loss statements
  • identify ways to increase revenue and decrease costs
  • perform other duties as assigned by Regional Manager or upper management
