Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience managing customer-focused teams in fitness, hospitality, restaurant, or similar industry
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills
  • Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to continually stand and walk during shift
  • Ability to continually talk to members and potential members in person and on phone during shift
  • Must be able to lift 45 pounds

Job Duties

  • Oversee entire club operation and management ensuring positive member experience and operational excellence
  • Create a welcoming environment to ensure excellence in member services
  • Interview, hire, and train new staff
  • Ensure proper staffing and coverage based on business needs
  • Conduct evaluations and performance reviews for all staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly club
  • Ensure club profitability and financial success
  • Ensure the safety and protection of employees and members
  • Handle timecard administration and follow all policies related to employee pay
  • Train staff on and execute local and national promotions
