Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a leadership role
- 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
- Compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk extensively, lift up to 50 pounds, reach, bend, stoop, taste and smell, communicate verbally, and utilize vision to perform essential functions
- Commitment to follow CDC, local, and state safety and sanitation guidelines
- Willingness to uphold company policies and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple operational tasks and employee management duties

- Prior leadership experience required

- College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise employee performance
- Reward and discipline employees including termination
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior creating a hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to management team
- Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
- Assist team members with category job duties as needed
- Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests
- investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
- Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company policies compliance
- Enforce safe work behaviors
- Monitor daily activities for food quality and cleanliness
- Control cash, inventory, food, and labor costs
- Review financial reports and schedules and take appropriate actions
- Manage food cost by following recipes and portion control
- Manage labor costs by optimizing employee schedules
- Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- Maintain facility and company assets
- Perform additional duties as assigned
