Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to two years related experience and/or training
  • Must attend GM Core classes and Crew Interviewing Workshop within 90 days of hire
  • Must be Serve-Safe certified
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical documents
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively to various audiences
  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions
  • Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts
  • Ability to solve problems and interpret technical instructions

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
  • One to two years of related experience or training
  • Knowledge of company's operating systems and procedures
  • Familiarity with supervisory practices and employee development
  • Understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and professional journals
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages
  • Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions
  • Serve-Safe certification

Job Duties

  • Manage the operations and staff of Wendy's restaurant
  • Execute all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
  • Ensure objectives are reached in all areas while following company guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices
  • Provide leadership, direction, training, and development to subordinate managers and crew
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and implement corrective measures
  • Conduct planning and budgeting activities
