Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years in a leadership role in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industry
- Experience managing financial outcomes and direct reports
- Ability to work more than 50 hours per week with flexible schedule
- Ability to lift, move or carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, stoop and crawl
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and stand or walk frequently
- Occasional travel for off-site meetings
- Flexibility to adapt to urgent business needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years in a leadership role in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industry
- Experience managing financial outcomes and direct reports
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Capacity for complex problem solving and sound decision making
- Experience with labor and inventory controls
- Ability to foster a high performance, accountable culture
Job Duties
- Ensure restaurant achieves both financial commitments and guest satisfaction goals
- Maintain a high energy attitude to motivate associates and satisfy guest needs
- Ensure food, beverage and service quality meet or exceed standards
- Recruit, interview, hire and conduct performance appraisals for associates
- Responsible for development and succession planning for associates
- Provide disciplinary action for associates and terminations, when applicable
- Ensure direct reports perform all assigned job duties in a prompt and accurate manner
- Ensure preparation and submission of all required paperwork, follow all cash handling procedures, maintain and control restaurant assets, control inventories of food/beverage and small wares, ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws and company policies
- Analyze systems, procedures and business trends, provide strategic guidance for development and improvement of all restaurant operations
- Ensure a safe working and customer experience environment by facilitating safe working behaviors for all associates
- Perform other duties as needed
