Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership role experience
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • knowledge of company policies and applicable laws
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to effectively manage staff and operations
  • capacity to enforce safety and health regulations
  • proficiency with computer systems
  • ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop, and use hands for handling objects
  • ability to taste and smell food
  • capability to verbally communicate
  • visual acuity including close and distance vision
  • able to access all restaurant areas
  • availability to work various shifts including weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance
  • reward and discipline employees including terminations
  • shape restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest and hour
  • meet and greet guests while resolving food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure OSHA and safety code compliance
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, financial reports, and schedules
  • manage food, labor, and carryout costs
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities
  • perform all other assigned duties
