Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance
- reward and discipline employees including termination
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Shape the culture of the restaurant to ensure high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives to management and staff
- Assist team members with job duties as needed
- Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
- Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and health and safety codes
- Enforce safe work behaviors
- Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
- Control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, food and labor management
- Manage P&L including food cost, labor cost, and controllable expenses
- Control food costs by following recipes and portion control
- Manage labor costs by optimizing schedules and monitoring sales performance
- Ensure proper equipment use and facility maintenance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
