Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements if applicable
  • Availability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods without rest
  • Ability to lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and use hands effectively
  • Ability to verbally communicate clearly
  • Ability to use close and distance vision with color and peripheral sight
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor, stock, and register
  • Must adhere to safety, sanitation, and health guidelines

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance, reward, discipline, and if necessary, terminate employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a friendly atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and anticipate variances to management team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • Assist team members occasionally with job duties
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor daily food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Manage P&L and weekly inventory
  • Optimize labor scheduling
  • Ensure proper use of equipment
  • Maintain facility and assets
  • Perform all other assigned duties
