Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Leadership experience required
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to bend, stoop, and use hands for handling objects
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • Availability to work flexible shifts and weekends
  • Compliance with state age requirements for managing alcohol-serving establishments
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience in restaurant management
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining environment preferred
  • College or culinary education preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and legal regulations
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train restaurant staff
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while managing employee performance including appraisals, rewards, and disciplinary actions
  • Foster a positive restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve guest satisfaction and operational success
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere for guests and staff
  • Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives to the team
  • Assist team members with duties when needed
  • Champion sales initiatives and maximize sales per guest and per hour
  • Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain operational efficiency including cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Manage cash control, inventory, food and labor costs, schedules, and financial reports
  • Control food and labor costs using recipes, portion control, and effective scheduling
  • Maintain and ensure proper use of restaurant equipment and company assets
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
