Job Description

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted and lift or carry 30 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to stand for eight hours and have the ability to bend, stretch, and reach
- Must be able to communicate effectively with associates and guests
- Must pass appropriate security clearances
- Honesty and trustworthiness are essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress
- Must be able to multi-task and change activities frequently
- Must be able to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to work any shift including weekends
- Periodic overnight travel may be required
Job Qualifications
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Five years experience supervising at least 15 associates
- Three years experience in hotel management including budget management
- Prior experience working in Hilton or Marriott family of hotels preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Ensure hotel staff properly greet guests, adhere to uniform standards, and effectively resolve guest complaints
- Manage new hire processes and ensure completion of required paperwork and orientation
- Review and maintain ongoing training practices for associates
- Hire, train, coach, counsel, and develop a professional, cohesive team
- Promote positive morale and a friendly attitude among associates
- Monitor communication between departments to ensure timely and accurate information flow
- Develop and execute financial objectives, exceeding budgeted sales and expense goals
