Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Ability to work various shifts and weekends
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of business math and accounting
  • Ability to manage and lead a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Physical ability to stand, walk long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and communicate verbally
  • Must comply with state age requirements for alcohol service if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • College and/or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline staff including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and variances to management team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • Occasionally assist with category job duties
  • Champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests
  • Investigate and resolve food quality/service concerns
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Manage food cost by following recipes and portion control
  • Optimize labor schedules and monitor performance
  • Oversee proper use of restaurant equipment and maintenance of facilities
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
