Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of hotel management experience
- valid driver's license for the applicable state
- flexible schedule with ability to work long or irregular hours as business requires
- ability to exert up to 20 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently
- strong communication skills
- ability to evaluate options and make decisions quickly
- skilled in anticipating and resolving operational issues
- ability to interpret financial data and forecast performance
- strong listening skills
- able to absorb and apply complex information from varied sources
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of hotel management experience, preferably as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
- valid driver's license for the applicable state
- strong communication skills
- ability to evaluate options, make decisions quickly, and lead calmly in high-pressure situations
- skilled in anticipating and resolving operational issues
- ability to interpret financial data, forecast performance, and understand basic arithmetic and financial functions
- strong listening skills with the ability to understand and address concerns from employees and guests
- capable of absorbing and applying complex information from varied sources
Job Duties
- Lead all daily hotel operations with a focus on service excellence, financial performance, and employee engagement
- model Avion Hospitality's standards for professionalism, appearance, and guest interaction
- maintain compliance with all company and brand policies, safety standards, and required certifications
- partner with the Director of Sales to lead daily ATOM meetings and drive sales activity, prospecting, and account development
- actively participate in sales efforts including meeting top accounts, hosting client events, conducting site tours, and maintaining community relationships
- conduct daily property walks and engage department heads to ensure efficient operations
- lead weekly staff meetings and training sessions focused on operational priorities and service standards
