Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing for entire shift, walking long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and effective communication
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and weekends
  • Adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4 to 6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • College or culinary education preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Basic business math and accounting knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to role model employee presentation
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance and addressing employee issues
  • Foster a positive culture to ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance job performance and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior in a warm and hospitable environment
  • Communicate sales performance and implement corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Drive sales through suggestive selling and sales building activities
  • Optimize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • Promote safe work behaviors for guests and employees
  • Monitor daily activities to maintain food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash handling, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Manage profit and loss including food, labor and carryout costs
  • Oversee weekly inventory processes and recipe adherence
  • Optimize employee scheduling using labor scheduling tools
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
