Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of supervisory or leadership experience
- operations experience in a leadership role
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency with phones, Point of Sale, and Microsoft Office
- valid driver's license and auto insurance
- access to a personal vehicle with mileage compensation
- minimum age 18 (19 in Alabama)
- pass a background check
- physical ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds
- willingness to work full-time with weekend availability
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
- operations experience in a leadership capacity
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
- valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle
- must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
- background check required
- ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- associates degree or higher preferred
- experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing preferred
- bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus and may be required for certain locations
Job Duties
- Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding company performance standards
- coach, lead, and develop all team members to build new business and increase store growth
- lead the charge for all team members to identify local marketing strategies and use business-to-business partnership opportunities
- examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and assess risk within established limits
- enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations
- supervise and maintain office security including cash management and loss prevention
- conduct proper opening and closing procedures and train new staff in keyholder duties
- participate in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees
- develop work schedules in accordance with budget, workloads, and store needs
- handle complex customer situations with integrity and professionalism
- monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance and address basic facility needs
- work efficiently in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment
- maintain full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance
