Job Requirements
- Work a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must be available to close the store at least once per week
- attend corporate business meetings and conferences including overnight stays and interstate travel
- maintain valid identification for airline travel
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant work experience
- successful financial management experience including driving sales and managing payroll budgets
- proven retail management skills including inventory monitoring and operational excellence
- leadership experience in talent attraction, development, and motivation
- proficiency with technology such as Point of Sale systems and Microsoft Office
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities
- organizational skills to handle multiple tasks
- ability to perform under pressure and adapt flexibly
Job Duties
- Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed retail and service sales goals including guest loyalty and payroll
- drive company profitability through operational excellence and expense control
- leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to maximize productivity and meet sales goals
- address financial and operational issues identified through reporting and audits to achieve profitability targets
- perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance guest experience and sales
- stay informed about industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests
- maintain prompt and regular attendance and enforce attendance policies among store associates
- attract, hire, and retain a diverse team and manage staffing needs efficiently
- enforce policies with corrective actions in partnership with district management
- foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- lead all aspects of manager and associate development including training and performance evaluations
- promote open communication and teamwork within the management team
- implement the Guest Engagement Leader program to drive business results
- ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- use scheduling and task management tools to optimize store operations
- protect company assets and minimize loss through adherence to control procedures
- manage day-to-day inventory control and theft reporting
- support continuous improvement and adoption of company initiatives and technology
- communicate regularly with field leadership about business trends and operational challenges
