Job Requirements
- Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old and fluent in English
- Certified in all stations following the DHC Training Program
- Current ServSafe certification
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude
- Commitment to guest satisfaction
- Effective communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation, a driver's license, and proof of insurance
- Must have a reliable method of communicating with supervisor and coworkers
- Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts
Job Qualifications
- Previous assistant general manager or general manager experience
- Certified in all stations following the DHC Training Program
- Current ServSafe certification
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to coach and motivate team members
- Experience managing inventory, purchasing, and operations
- Ability to develop and implement business strategies
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Job Duties
- Lead coordination and planning of everyday business operations
- Ensure all restaurant management and team members perform their job responsibilities and meet expectations
- Follow the DHC Training Program to learn and train new skills
- Communicate with immediate supervisor when additional training is needed
- Complete required Ops Walks and Q&A checks effectively and consistently
- Organize shift schedules and monitor attendance and tardiness
- Oversee food preparation following cooking instructions, safety, and sanitary procedures
- Maintain daily restaurant cleanliness including table clearing and restroom servicing
- Handle guest concerns professionally to resolve issues
- Provide direction, supervision, and feedback to maintain productivity and morale
- Institute and follow advanced cash handling policies
- Hire, train, schedule, and oversee teams
- Manage purchasing, inventory, and maintenance
- Develop strategies for workplace efficiency and goal achievement
- Build sales and forecast future performance
- Enforce company policies and directives
