Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or Associate degree in general studies
  • 5-7 years of supervisory and property management experience within multifamily housing
  • Preferred experience in multi-site management
  • Preferred certifications: ARM, CPM, IREM, or CAM
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws
  • Knowledge of affordable housing programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred skills: Yardi, LRO, leadership, and landlord/tenant knowledge

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience in multifamily property management
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws
  • Familiarity with affordable housing programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Yardi and LRO preferred
  • Understanding of landlord and tenant laws

Job Duties

  • Supervises and coordinates daily operations of apartment communities
  • Establishes communication system between property associates and Corporate Office
  • Supports and ensures proper use of property management software systems
  • Prepares budgets, purchase orders, and approves expenditures
  • Coordinates marketing plan and advertising for the property
  • Approves residency applications and leasing documents
  • Collects rent, manages delinquency, and initiates collections or evictions as necessary
  • Conducts move-in and move-out inspections and enforces housing quality standards
  • Maintains maintenance programs and coordinates with Engineering Department on major issues
