Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred
- previous supervisory experience preferred
- progressive experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry including rooms and food and beverage departments preferred
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must meet the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages at select properties
- must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain composure
- must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns from co-workers and guests
- must be able to work with financial information and perform basic arithmetic
- must be attentive to detail and meet deadlines
- must be proficient with Windows operating systems and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
- must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- must meet the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages at select properties
- valid driver's license required

- must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to stand or remain stationary for 3-4 hours at a time
- must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, lift and transport supplies up to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- use the guests' names whenever possible
- contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- support all groups and events at the hotel
- understand and utilize relevant technology
- answer all incoming calls with friendly service
- keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- greet every guest happily while cleaning
- complete operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- ensure accurate and timely shift handover reports
- wear a clean, approved uniform and nametag, and smile at all times
- communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- demonstrate a can-do attitude to meet business needs
- collaborate to create a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace
- conduct daily walks of guest rooms and public spaces to ensure service and cleanliness
- onboard new team members according to checklist processes
- complete all daily summary and night audit processes per policy
- manage shift handover reports and upload required daily reports
- enforce brand quality assurance standards
- require proper attire and friendly greetings among staff
- ensure fire and life safety inspections are current and corrected
- confirm preventative maintenance tasks are completed
- manage team members' adherence to work schedules
- promote a culture of learning and safety
- provide training and coaching to staff
- review team member time clock punches
- manage purchase orders and invoice processing
- maintain inventory and storage per MCR standards
