Job Requirements
- Must be ServSafe certified
- Must be certified Moe's Manager
- Previous restaurant management experience
- Ability to maintain high standards in food safety and operations
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Effective communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to conduct effective interviews and supervise 15-25 team members
- Ability to handle pressures of coordinating multiple activities
- Must comply with company policies and complete assigned tasks timely
Job Qualifications
- College degree preferred but not required
- Previous restaurant experience is a must
- Combination of related experience and education will be considered
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must agree to a background check
Job Duties
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
- Ensure 100% guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
- Respond to guest complaints and take actions to ensure dissatisfied guests become regulars
- Provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
- Maintain an accurate and ongoing staffing plan, interview prospective employees following staffing procedures
- Develop team members through feedback and performance reviews
- Create a positive work environment known in the community as the place to work
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance
- Maintain high scores for city/county health and Steritech inspections
- Ensure compliance with Moe's and Sterling operational standards with high inspection scores
- Manage food flow from ordering to serving for quality and low waste
- Ensure proper security procedures to protect guests, employees, and assets
- Ensure a safe working environment and complete injury reports timely
- Manage effective shift scheduling
- Investigate mystery shopper reports and implement improvement plans
- Adhere to Sterling standards to meet sales, labor, and cost goals
- Utilize monthly profit and loss statements to improve profitability
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Book one spirit night per month following company policies
- Maintain strong community presence and involvement
