Job Requirements
- GED/diploma required
- 5 years management experience including 2 years in similar industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 6 years experience in industry or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- last-mile delivery or small parcel experience highly desired
- experience with independent contractor model
- strong negotiation skills
- ability to inspire a shared vision and empower a team
- strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics or related discipline preferred
- minimum of 5 years management experience with at least 2 years in a similar industry
- 6 years' experience in industry or related field
- experience with last-mile delivery or small parcel highly desired
- experience with independent contractor model and strong negotiation skills
- strong organization and time-management skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite
- ability to inspire a shared vision and engage a team
Job Duties
- Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services
- direct, plan and prepare budgets based on corporate goals and objectives
- evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and report these results to Regional Operations and General Managers
- maintain engineered staffing levels for all positions including coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management, and staff productivity
- ensure adherence to all contract aspects and work with vendors and independent contractors for accountability to the operating agreement
