Job Requirements
- Prior management experience in a similar organization
- College graduate with a two or four year degree in hotel restaurant management business or associated field
- Demonstrates leadership abilities as evaluated by current assistant director or director of operations and hourly associates
- Achieves status of assistant general manager or prior unit general manager experience with a similar organization
- Must be able to stand and exert well paced mobility for periods up to ten hours
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Must be able to transport and carry objects up to 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with high sense of urgency for ten hours
- Must be able to operate restaurant equipment including blenders fryers broilers and steamers
- Must be able to perform cleaning duties including wiping table tops legs and picking up debris
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensures prompt friendly service according to company guidelines
- Builds a culture using the vision mission statement to guide teamwork results integrity passion for service fun balance innovation and being guest driven
- Ensures immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints by self and staff
- Ensures guest contact as a priority with self and staff utilizing a target goal of 100 percent table visitation
- Teaches and enforces alcohol awareness and builds positive relationships with local authorities
- Maintains adequate inventory levels and ensures product preparation and presentation meet company standards
- Actively participates in community to increase sales and raise restaurant awareness
- Implements and executes incentive contests and educates associates on promotions and new menu offerings
- Oversees and schedules associates to meet sales demands
- Maintains safety and security programs according to company policy and government standards
- Promotes and manages restaurant organization cleanliness and sanitation
- Institutes preventative maintenance of all equipment and building and immediately corrects needed repairs with AD/DO approval
- Advises AD/DO of any non-routine situations
- Communicates with other managers through management log and shift change meetings
- Completes all other assigned duties and responsibilities
- Ensures quality recruitment and referrals of potential management candidates
- Adheres to and promotes training procedures of new managers
- Maintains a trained staff through orientation individual training sessions associate meetings and policy implementation
- Develops an environment of constant manager development including monthly and biannual reviews
- Assesses associate effectiveness provides feedback and works on development areas
- Ensures correct staffing levels and proper selection of associates
- Conducts thorough interviews and selects associates based on competency
- Insures exit interviews on all terminating associates
- Demonstrates proper execution of training systems emphasizing importance of training
- Ensures acceptable associate performance and documents situations needing disciplinary action instituting progressive discipline when appropriate
- Conducts weekly management and quarterly employee meetings
- Ensures compliance with company policies communicates all changes
- Ensures timely performance one-on-ones with written evaluations every six months
- Acts as coach to all associates
- Ensures administrative and accounting duties are properly completed
- Maintains and controls company assets
- Assures compliance with local state and federal laws regulations and guidelines
- Ensures restaurant meets or exceeds operating budgets
- Manages service contracts ensuring routine preventative maintenance occurs follows through on work and billing
- Analyzes systems and procedures with AD/DO for continuous improvement
- Ensures adherence to all cash handling procedures
- Performs and analyzes weekly food and liquor inventories costs
- Prepares and submits accurate paperwork to AD/DO and office
- Inspires cooperation and teamwork by building culture derived from mission vision and values
- Is guest obsessed and promotes this among the team
- Completes assignments properly and on schedule
- Develops goals and action plans for personal and professional growth
- Provides a role model for managers and associates
- Exhibits a professional image
- Is a subject matter expert on all store related technology
