Job Requirements

  • GED or diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or related discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience with at least 2 years in a similar industry
  • 6 years' experience in industry or related field
  • Experience with last-mile delivery or small parcel logistics highly desired
  • Experience with an independent contractor model
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
  • Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

Job Duties

  • Guide and direct facility management in development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of services
  • Direct, plan and prepare budgets based on corporate goals and objectives
  • Evaluate overall operations regularly and report results to Regional Operations and General Managers
  • Maintain engineered staffing levels including coaching, skills development, rewards, recognition, performance management, and staff productivity
  • Ensure adherence to contract terms and manage accountability with Vendors and Independent Contractors
