Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA, local health, and safety regulations
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to push, lift, carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands for handling tools and controls
  • Ability to bend, stoop, taste, smell
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Physical ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor, stock, and register
  • Commitment to safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and manage employee rewards and discipline including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems promptly
  • Foster a positive restaurant culture and employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Create a hospitable atmosphere encouraging staff to perform their best
  • Communicate sales performance and business objectives to the management team
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Drive sales building and suggestive selling activities
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health, safety codes and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors for guests and staff
  • Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs, review financial reports and schedules
  • Manage P&L including food, labor, and other controllable costs
  • Follow recipes and portion control and manage weekly inventory
  • Optimize labor scheduling and monitor sales performance
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and maintain facility and assets
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
