Job Requirements

  • 5-7 years experience in full-service restaurant
  • ability to lift minimum 25 lbs and perform essential physical functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing, and walking long distances
  • standing for long periods in varying temperature environments
  • must obtain and maintain Serve Safe Food Manager’s Certification within six months
  • proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to work various shifts according to business needs
  • bachelor of science degree in hotel/restaurant management preferred or equivalent experience
  • strong knowledge of restaurant operations including food preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, policies and procedures, personnel management, and recordkeeping
  • effective communication skills
  • must comply with all company policies and legal regulations
  • ability to perform under stress and tight deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mathematics
  • Ability to read and write effectively
  • Obtain and maintain Serve Safe Food Manager’s Certification within six months of hire
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Knowledge of food planning, purchasing, sanitation, security, personnel management, and recordkeeping
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage fast-paced environments and diverse teams
  • Bachelor of Science in hotel/restaurant management desirable but combination of education and experience considered
  • Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 environment
  • Commitment to company core values and customer service excellence

Job Duties

  • Provide 100 percent support and commitment to achieving company’s strategic goals including profitable growth, guest satisfaction and associate engagement
  • Execute location/brand standards, taking ownership of the restaurant and providing leadership to the team
  • Build a great workplace by promoting and driving engaged workforce, career development, and learning
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop team members to reach full potential
  • Ensure consistent high quality of food preparation, service and restaurant cleanliness
  • Analyze financial data daily and take appropriate action to maintain profitability
  • Ensure all schedules, labor, payroll, and purchasing meet company policies and cost goals
  • Monitor safety, security, and loss prevention procedures to protect associates, guests, and company assets
  • Lead effective communication by being accessible, open-minded to feedback, and fostering leadership and motivation across the team
  • Ensure compliance with all operational standards, policies and federal/state/local laws
  • Drive associate engagement through team meetings and annual surveys
  • Enforce sanitary practices and HACCP initiatives
  • Complete all opening and closing procedures accurately
  • Promote a culture of safety and health
  • Adapt and innovate to solve challenges and drive departmental success
  • Maintain professional restaurant image and role model desired behaviors
