Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • minimum 4-6 years in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
  • ability to work various shifts and weekends
  • comply with state mandated age requirements for alcohol service if applicable
  • ability to stand and walk long periods without rest
  • ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to bend, stoop, and use hands for handling
  • ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • visual capabilities including close, distance, peripheral, color vision and depth perception
  • ability to access all restaurant areas
  • able to comply with safety and sanitation protocols
  • able to make decisions under established policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college and/or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior to create a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and variances to management team
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • assist team members with duties when needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues to ensure 100% guest satisfaction
  • maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • control cash/security procedures, inventory management, and scheduling
  • manage food, labor, and carryout costs
  • conduct weekly inventory process
  • optimize weekly employee schedules using labor scheduling tools
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform other duties as assigned
