Job Requirements

  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and reward or discipline employees including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape and maintain restaurant culture with a focus on employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior to create a warm, friendly atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to staff
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations and manage cost controls and profit
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • Enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
  • Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash and security procedures, inventory, labor, and financial reports
  • Manage food and labor costs
  • Oversee restaurant equipment use and facility maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
