Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Oversee product quality and operational standards
  • Direct marketing efforts and adapt to market conditions
  • Manage and train other managers
  • Manage sales and profitability
  • Oversee the budget and reporting
  • Conduct weekly management meetings and maintain regular communication with the owner
  • Ensure staffing levels to maximize service and sales
  • Handle large party bookings and coordinate with party planners
  • Maintain contact with community organizations and promotional activities
  • Coordinate and maintain Ordersmart, Opentable, and Aloha systems
  • Manage beverage and dining room operations including staff training and payroll
  • Conduct inventories and monitor purchasing efficiency
  • Review monthly income statements and report to owner
  • Conduct employee meetings and monitor labor costs
  • Maintain the restaurant website and online reservation systems
  • Administer employee training and evaluation programs
