This job opportunity is offered by a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, distinct and separate from McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos, trademarks, and food products, enabling the restaurant to operate under the well-known McDonald's brand. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Proven experience as a General Manager or comparable leadership role
- Ability to lead teams and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to pursue and complete required certifications such as Leading Great Restaurants Leadership training
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous General Manager experience in high volume quick service restaurants
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to set and meet operational goals
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Experience in hospitality or retail management is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Run a profitable restaurant while maintaining McDonald's customer standards of Quality Service and Cleanliness
- Set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and create plans to achieve them
- Lead and manage a team of Department Managers by setting goals coaching and monitoring progress
- Provide coaching and guidance to improve departmental performance and overall restaurant operations
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to ensure effective leadership team
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations
