Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and relevant laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance
  • reward and discipline employees, including terminations
  • handle complaints and resolve problems
  • promote a positive restaurant culture and high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and maintain a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • lead sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales per guest/hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost control and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • manage cash control, inventory, financial reports, and scheduling
  • oversee P&L management including food and labor costs
  • control food costs through recipe adherence and inventory
  • optimize labor schedules and monitor daily operations
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities
