Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hotel management experience, preferably in extended stay or limited service properties
  • Proven track record in achieving revenue, occupancy, and guest satisfaction goals
  • Experience with property management systems such as Opera, OnQ, and PMS
  • Knowledge of revenue management tools
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent financial and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • On-call availability for emergencies
  • Physical ability to perform active, hands-on duties involving walking and property inspections

Job Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and sales
  • Ensure smooth, efficient property operation in line with brand and company standards
  • Monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and other performance metrics
  • Maintain compliance with safety, health, and security regulations
  • Ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and stocked for long-term stays
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere for extended-stay guests and handle guest concerns promptly
  • Build and maintain relationships with guests to encourage retention and positive reviews
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Control costs related to labor, supplies, and utilities
  • Collaborate on pricing strategies and yield management
  • Drive local sales efforts and build relationships with local businesses and travel partners
  • Recruit, train, and manage property staff and foster a culture of teamwork and accountability
  • Conduct performance reviews and coach staff
  • Oversee property maintenance and capital improvement projects
  • Ensure compliance with fire, life safety codes, and local ordinances
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure brand quality and cleanliness
