Job Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years experience managing a 250 room or larger full-service hotel
- Knowledge of Hilton or Embassy Suites preferred
- Ability to provide leadership and coaching to employees
- Strong financial acumen including budget creation and analysis
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Capability to develop and implement marketing strategies
- Proven ability to maintain operational and quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Commitment to uphold company values and promote a positive culture
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of related hotel and management experience
- Proven track record of meeting budgets and understanding P&L statements, budgets, and cost control
- Field management experience preferred
- Sales background is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with PC and Windows-based software
- Demonstrated evidence of service and financial success
Job Duties
- Delivers results that contribute to the success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest and associate satisfaction and efficiency
- Monitors the performance of financial and operational plans and takes action to support the overall objectives of the hotel
- Maintains a clean, well-maintained quality product
- Ensures exceptional guest and employee relations, providing coaching and engagement to perform at a high level
- Maximizes room revenues by anticipating market shifts and developing strategic marketing plans
- Develops and maintains rapport with key community contacts for a visible presence
- Oversees security functions to ensure a safe environment for guests, employees and assets
- Maintains a proactive human resources function ensuring employee motivation, training, benefits administration and compliance
- Develops the annual budget and recommends capital improvements to enhance assets and brand loyalty
- Performs other duties as required
