Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive hand/arm motions
- Ability to lift 50 plus pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Must have agility and endurance for physical demands
- Ability to assist in training and developing new hires
- Occasional long hours in compliance with laws
- Ability to write simple correspondence in English
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally in English
- Ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
- Reliable transportation
- Current ServSafe certification or must obtain within 30 days
- Food Handler Permit as required by local laws
- Compliance with all local Health Department requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience in coaching and developing teams in a retail environment
- Availability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Achieve sales, labor, and food cost targets for store profitability
- Supervise and direct staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and scheduling
- Monitor and control labor costs, food costs, and variable operating expenses
- Maintain security and safety of store assets
- Oversee cash handling and timely financial report processing
- Monitor inventory levels, production, waste, and unauthorized giveaways
- Ensure compliance with uniform policy and appearance standards
- Provide training and onboarding of new and existing staff
- Prepare bi-weekly schedules and determine staffing needs
- Provide disciplined leadership, coaching, counseling, and employee development
- Perform supervisory responsibilities including employment decisions
- Conduct accurate monthly physical inventory
- Ensure accurate employee timekeeping
- Review and authorize vendor invoices and coordinate payments
- Maintain equipment and physical facilities, including cleaning and repairs
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, federal and state regulations
- Coordinate and execute promotional, marketing, advertising, and public relations activities
- Maintain good relations with mall management and attend relevant meetings
- Act as a working manager alongside team members
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
