Job Duties

  • Work with head trainer to ensure training materials are effectively used in team member training
  • Uphold GM training promises
  • Coach, train and develop restaurant team members in their roles
  • Provide tools, education and experience for job performance standards
  • Ensure all new team members attend orientation and set up certified trainers
  • Follow up with team members and trainers
  • Conduct performance-oriented training and maintain training records
  • Support manager-in-training program
  • Analyze own strengths and weaknesses
  • Develop self-improvement objectives and implementation plan
  • Support leadership development in restaurant operations
  • Deliver restaurant profitability within cost of goods and labor guidelines
  • Meet cost goals for food
  • Meet labor goals and complete daily work with no overtime
  • Hold kitchen manager accountable for product and labor goals
