Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years in restaurant industry preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Compliance with state age requirements for serving alcohol where applicable

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff according to company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions including termination
  • Foster a culture of high employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and excellent guest service
  • Create a hospitable atmosphere encouraging optimal performance
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to management and staff
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover and sales per guest
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Manage equipment use and facility maintenance
  • Perform all other assigned duties
