Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership role experience
  • 4-6 years in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants
  • dedication to guest service
  • availability to work weekends and various shifts

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and manage rewards and discipline including terminations
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and promote high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior creating a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and variances
  • cascade corporate initiatives
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests
  • investigate and resolve food quality/service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost and profit controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, financial reports, and schedules
  • manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • implement recipe and portion controls
  • manage labor costs with optimized scheduling
  • ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform all other duties assigned
