Job Requirements
- high school diploma or college degree preferred
- minimum of four years of experience in retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations management
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
- forklift operator certification required
- open shift availability
- ability to frequently move on hard surfaces, bend, pull, and reach
- ability to regularly lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally heavier with assistance
- willingness to work in temperature extremes and loud environments
- commitment to safety and compliance
- at least 18 years of age
Job Qualifications
- four plus years of retail, supermarket, or warehouse operations management experience
- excellent communication and leadership capabilities
- knowledge of shrink controls, staff development, merchandising, customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution
- demonstrated ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams
- understanding of store operations including membership, front-line, gas station, tire bay, maintenance, receiving, and omni procedures
- completion of company training program preferred
- basic computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and email
- ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
- forklift operation certification
- open shift availability
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- provide strategic department leadership

- oversee labor planning and scheduling
- drive sales, inventory control, and shrink management
- champion member experience standards
- execute operational readiness
- lead department talent management
- utilize tools and reporting for decision-making
- ensure compliance and safety
- support special initiatives and transitions
- maintain equipment and facilities
- perform cross-functional support as needed
- utilize BJ’s MY WORK system
- operate equipment safely as required
- maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
