Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience preferably in rooms and food and beverage
  • Knowledge of hotel operations including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning
  • Ability to stand and move throughout hotel property and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Create and maintain a customer-driven hotel with a vision that inspires associates to perform their best
  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure consistent product and service delivery
  • Conduct daily property inspections monitoring cleanliness, condition, and cost control
  • Attend corporate meetings and serve on various committees related to research, development, and standards
  • Manage human resources functions including interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Participate in community affairs to promote a positive public image
  • Meet with potential and current clients to promote hotel services
  • Engage actively in sales and revenue management functions including strategic meetings and group booking processes
  • Guide executive committee and management teams in making sound business decisions
  • Develop and execute financial objectives for the hotel
  • Comply with attendance rules and be consistently available to work
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
