Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise employee performance and administer rewards and disciplinary actions
- Address complaints and resolve problems efficiently
- Cultivate a positive restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members to promote success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior and maintain a hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and anticipate variances
- Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to management and staff
- Assist team members with job duties as needed
- Drive sales through suggestive selling and promotional activities
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- Maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors to protect guests and crew
- Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards daily
- Control day-to-day operations including cash handling, inventory, and financial reporting
- Manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
- Follow recipes and portion control to control food costs
- Optimize labor schedules and monitor sales performance using company tools
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and company assets
- Perform all other duties as assigned
